Strange, but possibly reliable. Inhuman(?) - a 'Servant', instead. Spirit. Sounds like something out of a feed show, but this whole place is out of a feed show.

Murderbot's de-facto partner on patrol, as it stands. The only one who's aware of how useless its weapons are, and who went os far as to suggest it bluff regarding their capabilities. Not that it wasn't already planning on it, but at least someone knows it *might* need backup in a fight, and who better than an 'avatar of vengeance'?

Doctor Serizawa

The Beastmaster

A medic from a more primitive time, but one whom Murderbot is already respecting. Aside from adopting Plato, there isn't much that Dr. Serizawa has done that Murderbot *doesn't* respect; from holding his ground in the trial for Pyrrha's killer, to keeping Plato partly out of concern that he wasn't spreading any diseases.

While Dr. Serizawa's medical skill isn't anywhere near a MedSys, Murderbot actually *does* appreciate the offer made to assist in its own - though it's more concerned with everyone else here. At least, if they don't have a MedSys, they have *someone*.

Parker Rochford

The Queen

Murderbot doesn't like most adolescents. They're arrogant, headstrong, and full of themselves. Parker displays these traits, but also has an empathy that makes Murderbot borderline uncomfortable. To say nothing how she's already accepted it as 'safe', no questions asked - and even after it pulled weapons in a trial.

It's clear that she has some trauma, but Murderbot isn't the kind to ask - and this isn't a place she can get therapy, either. Things are going to get worse before they get better, and it just wants to keep her - along with everyone else - as safe from them as possible.

Lt. Columbo

The Detector

Lt. Columbo is somewhat of an intrusive man, but it's almost...comical...how he acts about it. Murderbot has the feeling that people underestimating him is as much to credit for his performance as a detective as his actual sleuthing skills; it has the feeling it's easy for humans to let their guards down around him. As it stands, though, he *is* someone with actual field experience regarding homicide and murder, and for that, Murderbot respects him and his skills.

The dog is another story. Murderbot mostly just tolerates that thing, as it does most of Columbo's rambling.

Emma Hawkins

The Mythhunter

Another adolescent, and a bit more of proof why Murderbot tends to not like them. Also one with clear trauma - outside of the sort obtained here - to the point where Murderbot did the unthinkable and ~~invited~~ allowed a hug to try and reassure the human. Still. Oof.

It may or may not be in the process of trying to convince her that standing one's ground is sometimes very, very stupid - and sometimes, the best thing to do is run the hell away. But leave it to a kid to not understand that.

Calypso Dynamite

The Cyborg

If one would think Murderbot would immediately bond with another 'bot, one would be wrong. Calypso's human enough to remind Murderbot of a ComfortUnit, except ComfortUnits aren't usually as...obtuse. Unless they're playing a role, but that's besides the point. The point is that it and Calypso may have things in common, but she's far enough apart to rub it the wrong way and make it prefer to ignore her whenever possible.

Still, she seems as intent on protecting others as it is, so even if it wanted to it can't exactly completely write her off.

Priscilla S. Asagiri

The Motorenegade

Paranoid, but in a good way. Bad experience with 'Boomers', which is understandable, considering how horrific they are. Still better with people than Murderbot is. They got off to a rocky start, but considering Priscilla isn't seeming to want to hold a grudge in this situation, Murderbot will only *remember* how she treated it as opposed to outright holding it against her.

Besides. In a place like this, having someone mistrust it is practically reassuring.

Tyzias Entykk

The Lawbringer

It has no idea how many years a 'sweep' is, but for an alien, Tyzias acts pretty much like an adolescent human...which means Murderbot is inclined to treat her as one until further notice. Which means that while she gets a bit of leeway in terms of behavior, the fact she's arrogant enough to assume that outright accusing someone of murder with barely any proof is a good idea to try and press someone else in to revealing confidential information means that Murderbot thinks she's in dire need of a smack across the head.

It's also vaguely curious what alien media is like, but it hasn't found an opportunity as of yet to ask.

Jared Kowalski

The Manwrangler

Jared is...enthusiastic. And dumb. Like a puppy. Murderbot's not a fan of puppies, but it recognizes that for all of Jared's bounciness, he seems to know the best time to shut up - that is, while you're watching Drama Sun Islands.

That said, Murderbot's pretty sure nobody's going to have to attack the human; he'll nearly kill himself, somehow, through some horrific accident. That Murderbot's going to have to stop. Sigh.

Goro Majima

The Street Demon

Majima's serious enough...outside of karaoke. Somewhat protective of the younger ones, but that's a fairly common human trait. Including using yourself as a shield between a SecUnit's weapons and a potential threat, but then, stupidity seems universal.

Murderbot's still trying to determine where on the 'tolerate' line Majima is, but so far he seems better than most humans. Somewhat.
